Favorite thing: Go shopping in the Riverside Shopping Arcade. Almost everything you want can be bought under cover of the glass roof.
The arcade has now got music playing throughout which seems to make the place a lot more vibrant..

Favorite thing: If you want to surf the net or send an EMAIL in Evesham there are two public places to do this.
1)Community Contact Centre,Abbey Road. 3 terminals available , cost:free , if it is available you can use it otherwise you have to book.
2)Public Library, Oat Street. Several terminals available. cost:free. if they are available you can use them otherwise you have to book in half or full hour sessions.

Fondest memory: In the Easter of 1998 Evesham was subjected some of the worst floods ever seen and certainly the worst that I had seen.On the Thursday night I was going home from the pub at about 11.00pm , I crossed the bridge home and went to the kebab shop. On coming out of the shop I turned back towards the river I noticed a small trickle of water crossing the road but never thought anymoreabout it, thinking it was just a water leak somewhere and went home to bed. This and the photos in my travelogue resulted from the trickle of water few hours later.

Favorite thing: The Winter of 2009- 2010 has been one of the worst that I can remember for a long time with snow last over a week at one point.
