Modellers Railway Station in a Conservation Area

The whole of this Railway Station is in a Conservation Area Station and so is not allowed to be damaged by the Railway authorities. That doesn't mean they know quite what to do with it. The station is now unmanned but it is heavily used by 2 local secondary schools throughout the daytime.
One of the gems of the station is the footbridge as this was the model used by the orginal diecast railway model companies, that of Hornby.

Our Plaice in Hagley: Fish and Chip Shop putting on the style

At the end of 2004 this Fish and Chip Shop was awarded the Sea Industry Fish and Chip Shop of the Year Award, having previously been awarded the West Midland Regional Winner. As well as the usual Cod and Chips they very often have a speciality fried fish on the menu. They even go round the streets in the morning to pick up any disgarded fish and chip wrappings.
