Halesworth Things to Do
I'm Skybound - I don't look down!
Disappointed as I was to miss most of the Damian Rice performance on the Friday night due to the late arrival of my train, this was more than compensated for by Tom Baxter on Saturday night. It was absolutely amazing to see him again and he really gave his very best for the wholly enthusiastic crowd with many of the tracks from his latest album "Skybound" including "Better" and "Tell Her" and of course "Skybound". It's about the people you meet
I would say that I go to festivals for the music but it's so much more than that - it's about the fun of meeting people - and with over 20,000 campers there are just so many lovely people out there!
This guy was an official festival photographer who was shooting Tom Baxter just in front of me... we had a chat and he couldn't have been nicer telling me a bit about photography and helping me get some good shots - Cheers mate!! :))Related to:
Even the local sheep had been dyed various colours to make them feel like part of the festival! They were quite a draw to children (and for anyone with a camera!) and they seemed quite oblivious to all the attention they were receiving!Related to:

The Angel: Pub-cum-Italian
The Angel in Halesworth is a pub with an Italian restaurant ('Cleone's') attached. But we went on a Sunday, when it is more pub than Italian. On Sundays they don't serve the pasta dishes, but do offer English roasts with Yorkshire pudding or pizza and items from a bar menu.
We went for the pizza, which was maybe not that authentic, but was homemade and very tasty. The homemade Yorkshire puddings we saw being delivered to other tables looked great.
For dessert there was a choice from a specials board, or an interesting range of ice cream.
Favorite Dish: Rhubarb ice cream is a revelation.Related to:
