Dyers is opposite the church and is a real old fashioned shop with oak cabinets holding habadashery and brass rules in yards set into the counter.
Booners is the local butchers just up the road from the Church, excellent filled rolls and most of the time a queue out the door.

Ancient market town, with a range of unusual shops. Set deep in the Somerset countryside Ilminster makes a good place for touring by car or as a starting point for the Parret Trail up to Bridgwater.
