Favorite thing: Keswick (pronounced Kessick btw) is one of the main towns of England's Lake District. It's a perfect base for a few days in the Lakes as you will find everything a tourist needs here: Great views, outdoor shops and even a few other shops, lots of pubs and restaurants, a pitch & putt and a crazy golf course and even a little theatre.
Fondest memory: Sitting on the grass at the lake in the evening watching sheep and fell fires. What a nice way to end a beautiful day!

Fish & Chips and Outdoor Shops: Keswick

For two nights we stayed in Keswick, one of the main tourist towns in Lake District. It's a pleasant little town and a perfect base for trips around the Lakes I think.

Lyzzick Hall is a fabulous bed and breakfast about two miles outside of Keswick. The view is breathtaking and the food was incredible! I would highly recommend a stay or dinner visit at Lyzzick Hall!

I'm going to try to find some pictures. i just remember a mad scramble up a rather large and enjoyable peat-y hill that was considered a mountain. More to come if I find pictures and/or memories
