My favourite spot in Keswick was a little park right at the lake (Does it have a name? Anyway, it's near Keswick boat landings and the theatre, next to Hope Park).
We came here in the evenings to watch the sheep, the fell fires and a beautiful sunset here. A very peaceful, quiet and relaxing place to end busy beautiful days! Loved it!

Address: Behind Hope Park when coming from town
Between the town centre and the lake there's Hope Park - a park with some leisure activities such as Pitch & Putt and Crazy Golf. There's also some kind of Botanical Gardens in here so Hope park is a nice place for a walk after a long day.

A mysterious place! Castlerigg stone circle is located on a hill near Keswick.
There's 38 stones in a circle here - probably built around 3000 BC. The stones are rather small though so this stone circle is not as impressive as the ones in Scotland but it still is a nice place. It is very quiet and you get nice views of the mountains from here.

A scenic view point not far from Keswick at Lake Derwentwater. We walked here one evening and the views from here were fantastic.
The only problem is that there is a queue for the only bench with a view. Seems to be one of the most popular benches in England ;)

The Teapottery
At the Teapottery they make teapots of every kind imaginable- except ordinary ones. For nearly 20 years their witty and original designs have been sought ou by collectors throughout the world and featured in films, on TV and in countless magazines.
The Teapottery specialises in teapots and nothing but. They create all their designs, and each miniature work of art is cast and decorated entirely by hand.

Fish & Chips and Outdoor Shops: Keswick

For two nights we stayed in Keswick, one of the main tourist towns in Lake District. It's a pleasant little town and a perfect base for trips around the Lakes I think.

Lyzzick Hall is a fabulous bed and breakfast about two miles outside of Keswick. The view is breathtaking and the food was incredible! I would highly recommend a stay or dinner visit at Lyzzick Hall!

I'm going to try to find some pictures. i just remember a mad scramble up a rather large and enjoyable peat-y hill that was considered a mountain. More to come if I find pictures and/or memories
