Talk is a great dance club designed for 18 - 30 year olds to boogie the night away. It is a favourite venue for my daughter, Sabrina (19) and her friends to go when they all come back from University. Sometimes mother will tag along too but I always have a good night. It is like home as I have been going for over 20 years.
Upstairs there is a another bar called Bar Blue where the more mature hang out to drink and talk. The music is excelllent in there too. If you go in Bar Blue you can arrange access to downstairs too.

The Kursaal Bowl in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, houses 30 Ten Pin Bowling lanes with state of the art automated scoring.

The Kursaal officially re-opened on the 14th May 1998 following a massive restoration and rebuilding work. Since 1998 continual changes and upgrades have been made and the centre currently boasts a 30 lane Tenpin Bowling Centre, Balcony Bar Function Room, Mardi Gras Amusement area housed under a circus big top, Sports Bar with Wide Screen T.V. showing live sporting events, Pool Lounge, Uncle Sam`s Diner and the latest addition to the centre is the Jackpot Palace Adult Only Gaming Centre. On Friday & Saturday evenings our in house DJ`s play music to the early hours.
The Kursaal - Britain's very first "Family Entertainment Centre" sserves the community and day trippers today much as it did over 100 years ago.

Rendezvous Casino is a great venue in which to eat and drink before heading towards the tables to sin some cash.
Visit the Rendezvous Casino at the Kursaal and you'll find everything you'd expect of a traditional gaming club set in a modern, London style environment.
The Rendezvous Elements restaurant offers an international selection of cuisines. The wine list is also renowned, with an inspired selection. A private dining room is available and ideal for parties of up to 24 people.
The new look Fahrenheit bar (built almost entirely from stainless steel and toughened glass) includes two 3 metre ice wells serving ice shots and is the first bar in the UK to use the Glycol system to guarantee ice cold beer every time.
Fahrenheit Video Ice Bar has the largest Vodka selection in Essex and the cocktail list is one of the most spectacular.
