One of the more energetic ways to get to and around Lochwinnoch is by bicycle. There is a cycle track that cuts straight through Lochwinnoch, so you can cycle quite easily to and from places such as Howood, Kilbarchan, Johnstone and Paisley, Kilbirnie and Dalry.

    Getting here by Train

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Lochwinnoch Train Station is unfortunately around 0.75 miles outside the village. So it is a good 15 minutes walk from the village center.

Its a nice walk, although should probably be avoided during heavy rains, as the road you need to walk on from the Station floods.

You can get trains to and From Glasgow Central and to and From Largs and Adrossan, and obviously to and from most other places on the Glasgow - Largs line.

There are only 2 trains per hour though. One going to glasgow, the other coming from Glasgow.
