    The beach at Lossiemouth has the finest, purest, whitest sand this side of the Caribbean. Unfortunately, the town does not have the same temperatures so bathing is only for the brave.
    A little bit more global warming though and this place will certainly be big!

    A series of large sand dunes guard the beach at Lossiemouth. It is possible to walk many kms along the beach to the next river outlet, that of the Spey.

    An old footbridge takes you over the river Lossie from town, to the beautiful beach and dunes beyond.
    The beach is usually quiet, even in the height of summer

    From the beah at Lossiemouth you get a fine view of the town on the hill, with its town hall and church visible.

    Lossiemouth is an excellent place to sail. First of all, it has the best climate in Scotland... Secondly, there are boats for hire with and without crew, and good harbour facilities for sailors.
