Things to Do

Sailing out of Lossiemouth

Sailing out of Lossiemouth, Lossiemouth

Saagar Says:  Lossiemouth is an excellent place to sail. First of all, it has the best climate in Scotland... Secondly, there are boats for hire with and without crew, and good harbour facilities for sailors.

stevezero Says:  An old footbridge takes you over the river Lossie from town, to the beautiful beach and dunes beyond. The beach is usually quiet, even in the height of summer

Beautiful Beach

Beautiful Beach, Lossiemouth

stevezero Says:  The beach at Lossiemouth has the finest, purest, whitest sand this side of the Caribbean. Unfortunately, the town does not have the same temperatures so bathing is only for the brave.A little bit more global warming though and this place will certainly be big!

The 1629 Restaurant: The best restaurant visited in Lossie, Lossiemouth

Saagar Says:  The 1629 Restaurant down on the harbour side of lossie was an excellent choice for a dinner out. Italian emphasis, a bit on the stiff side, but a food place - not a place to go for rowdy pub meals and music. Why the name 1629? Escapes me still, but try the web site...
