You should definitely walk right across the island to the other side, which will take you ca. 10-15 mins to see the big bird colony there. On a rock just a few metres off Lunga thousands and thousands of birds are nesting, and while the noise is absolutely deafening, it is a fantastic sight.

On your way across the island you will see lots and lots and puffins which are living in little holes on the ground and look hilariously clumsy when they are flying with their bright red feet awkwardly sticking out under them. They are not shy at all and they will let you approach to about 2m, so you'll be getting lots of great photo opportunities.
