St Anne's Cathedral has impressive stained glass windows, and figures of Courage, Agriculture, and Justice. There are four Archangels around the nave, Michael, Gabriel, Uriel and Raphael. The tops of the pillars depict Courage, Science, Commerce, Healing, Agriculture, Music, Justice, Masonry, Arts, Women?s Work, and Wisdom. Baptismal area contains an amazing mosaic of The Creation. Made of over 150,000 pieces of glass, it shows the four elements, Fire, Earth, Air and Water.
    It was built between 1898-1904

Construction of the cathedral was begun in 1899, but it was not completed until 1981. Well, the 40 metre high spire in stainless steel was added as late as 2006, it is named a Spire of Hope. Even if the cathedral was not completed, but only the nave, the church was consecrated in 1904.

Inside there are beautiful mosaics and stained glass windows. There is also a large Celtic cross.

The cathedral is open to visitors Monday - Friday between 10 - 16, and also before and after service on Sundays.
The cathedral choir sings twice on Sundays.
