Where once variety markets thrived, you can now find Belfast's most prestigious concert venue.
Here you can see drama, ballet, opera, musicals and sing to the songs of famous rock and pop artists.
Outside the Hall, there are several statues, nice examples of public art.
The Belfast Waterfront Hall, a civic project conceived to inspire and promote the City of Belfast. This glass fronted, circular building was five years in the design, planning and building before being opened in 1997 at a cost of £32 million. It's situated beside the banks of the River Lagan, less than 10 minutes from the very centre of Belfast.
Facilities include a main auditorium, BT Studio, 16 meeting rooms, two bar areas and a restaurant.
Definitely go here to see a music artist perform, view art exhibitions or general performances. (I went to watch the Russian Ice skaters perform a few years ago).
