    Local Ulster Bus Services

    by richard4 Updated May 9, 2007

As a non driver I depend totally on the public transport services of wherever I go.
Northern Ireland is lucky that Translink Ulster Bus operate a wide variety of routes throughout NI.
The buses(when I was there) were broadly on time, and the fares were cheaper than Arriva in England, and the bus drivers polite,so yes,for me I had no problems using Ulster Bus and would do again.
SEE PICTURE 3 for current local bus route service 140 to the coast.

Millennium Taxi Service to Hotel from Station

    by richard4 Written May 9, 2007

It goes without saying that when you arrive in a strange town for the first time, you know nothing,or little of the streets ahead of you, coupled with you most likely having some baggage to drag with you,the logical first step to get to your hotel usually would be a TAXI.
At Coleraine the taxi rank is outside and across the road to the right of the exits.
