Weather can change here within a half hour. It could be sunny with a few clouds, and then 45 mins. later it's rainy and drizzling. Definitely have some water resistant outwear or light rain coat, but you don't have to have a deluge resistant coat like you would need in Asia during monsoon season. The weather is worse and wetter during the fall and winter, but it will precipitate during the summer. It will get warm enough for shorts and tshirts in the summer, but you'd probably want to have at least a sweatshirt anywhere you go. I always had a softshell with me, and the lady always had a sweater with her wherever we went. For some strange reason...they only seem to sell anti-perspirant instead of the option between anti-perspirant and plain deodorant.
