Favorite thing: Padstow has a colourful ancient history and has many medieval buildings, it remains as a working fishing port.
From the harbour you can see a small fleet of fishing boats and holidaymakers on the water.
If you get into trouble at sea, the lifeboat service will help, my cousin Michael is 2nd mechanic.
Fondest memory: Very hazy memories, but always good ones.
Just a small village.
Favorite thing: The best thing to do here is just walk around and explore the village. It is not very big but it has lovely old streets, buildings, a nice path along the coast. Enjoy the harbour with all it's boats in it. In the summer many people visit here so it usually is pretty busy then.
Fondest memory: My fondest memory...guess it is the view when you walk along the coast. But I also enjoyed sitting somewhere in the "center" and just look around and have a drink. At this picture you can see a bit of the harbour.
