This was a place we visited for a family wedding ceremony. The garden is situated in the Gloucestershire countryside and is known for its spectacular display of snowdrops which carpet the woodland floor in Springtime.A Coach House restaurant, gift shop and plant sales are all available here. Please note that certain areas of the garden are closed off during a wedding ceremony.
Powered cycles are available for hire from the garden so that you can explore the countryside.

    St. Mary's Church, Painswick England

Hhmm, I took this photo of a 'table' cemetery...which were popular a few hundred years ago !
Some of the cemeteries are opened ( for not being looking after properly...maybe ) & we can actually probe inside !
Patrick was jokingly told me that we could see the corpses inside !
Gory...!Continue with my photos around Painswick...

    St. Mary's Church, Painswick England

Painswick was originally called Wycke or Wykeham. The name changed to Wyke Pagani around 1150.
Now my photo is showing the tower of the church.
It houses a peal of bells, the earliest dates from 1686.
The number of bells was increased to 12 in 1821; To celebrate the tercentenary in 1986, the 13th bell was added & a 14th bell was also added in 1993 !

Another view of the church by the side...
Nevertheless, not all parts of this church is 600 years old because to retain it, more parts were added.
In a way, it could be said it's between 40 to 600 years old !

One of the most spectacular features of the garden occurs in early spring when snowdrops carpet the woodland floor.
