the fisherman singers
go along on a friday night and listen to The Fishermen singing on the harbour, a group of local men with fab voices who sing old songs (some sad some hysterical) whilst enjoying a drink from one of the local pubs. the atmosphere is fab!!
More of a 'Must Do' Activity
Pop into the local Public House, the 'Golden Lion', which is down by the harbour. In all the years I've been going to Port Isaac I have never been inside here - until today. It's a very old pub, and I believe a 'Listed' building, which means it can't be altered in any way, not even different outside paintwork! It's probably packed with tourists in the season, but today there were only a handful of people there.
Port Isaac harbour
When walking around in this small village you will finally end up at the harbour. Don't expect too much of it but I think it is a nice small harbour with quite a bit of boats in it. I was there at the low tide so the pic is not all that.

Paddling in the Rock Pools
At low tide there is small, sheltered, sandy beach with an abundance of rock pools where hours can be whiled away just paddling and looking for crabs and small fish.
