Tandle Hill Country Park has spectacular views of the Pennine hills and the Greater Manchester are. There are woodland walks, picnic areas, an Orienteering course, children's play area's and of course a countryside centre

Tandle Hill is situated near Thorpe Farm, and is a lovely country park situated in Royton, not overly huge but a bit of a escape for Roytonions during summer evenings and at the weekends, also popular with families, folk walking their dogs and runners alike.

Oh and 2 minutes from my front door
