    A new shopping mall. It's not the BIGGEST mall around, but it's quite nice with some good quality shops and a multiplex cinema. It also has a pretty good food court and some pubs and coffee bars.

    One of my favourite shops was "The Bear Factory" where you can design your own custom made teddy bear (or other animal), and watch him being made.
    We're gonna take our Niece to the Newcastle one soon ;-)

    Dear to eat in most places. Cheaper in Leith Walk, Try the ' FOOT of the WALK ' to eat and drink .

    Ocean Terminal is a shopping mall that just happens to be beside the sea and has the former Royal Yacht Brittania berthed outside it. The exterior could have been done better but once inside there are large propellers brassoed till they gleam underneath the escalators in the bright and airy central hallway. In addition to the standard shops and a cinema there are rather unique furniture shops and galleries. There is even a Baxters shop to complement some excellent restaurants.
