China Buffet King: Don't ask for a seat overlooking the Sno Zone
Interested in other opinions of this restaurant. Asked for a seat overlooking SnoZone as my son was snowboarding and we wanted to watch but even though the seats were three feet from other diners we weren't allowed to sit in them!! We went elsewhere on principle even though we couldn't see the snowboarding at all.
From other views maybe its just as well we went elsewhere.
china buffet king xscape braehead: eat all you want...but you wont want to
went for £6.99 lunch at Buffet King xscape braehead
asked for two cokes...waiter said "ok, 2 LARGE cokes...i had noticed they do this as part of the job...
food was at best 5/10 ...tough meat, watery sweet and sour, tastless prawns and desserts very poor. teenage son ate next to nothing
i would recommend going elswhere and spending your £6.99 on one course of better quality.
you could say "what can you get for £7"..not a lot here it seems
Favorite Dish: chips..
china buffet king: 1st & last time !
went to china buffet king at xscape, braehead for the 1st time today and defo won't be back. first impressions, well it wasnt the cleanest looking place, floor was needing good wash and quite a few dirty tables. 5 of us were seated at a small table, then we waited 20 mins for drinks to be served. food was very disappointing, for it to be a chinese restaurant there wasn't much chinese food, sausage rolls, mini pizzas, pork links and breaded chicken is not what we expected to be on the menu, the prawn toast, samosas & spring rolls could have broke your teeth they were so hard, most of the food was cold, the only thing that seemed edible was the chips ( and was the only thing that was hot) as for desserts well you cant go wrong with fruit, jelly or chocolate cake from the freezer. customer service was non existent, staff were not helpful or friendly.
overall very disappointing......don't waste your money going here!!

China Buffet King: CHINA BUFFET KING
We went here on New Years Eve as we had passed it on the way up Sauchiehall St. It was reasonably priced and had a good range of food in a nice setting. They had plenty of the usual Chinese dishes, as well as a couple of Japanese options and some salad and western options that would satisfy anyone not as keen on the spicier food. Everything I tried was delicious and well cooked! Dinner was only £6.99 which was good for evening time.
There is a place out at Xscape at Braehead that bears the same name but apparently does not belong to the same people and isn't very good at all.
China Buffet King: greasy dry and awful
It might be cheap but it certainly aint cheerful. I have been a few times and each time its got worse. Prawn Toasts are so greasy and I think the prawn passed it across the road! Everything is pretty tasteless, save yourself the money and go to a real chinese.
The drinks are expensive, the service surly and I suppose you get what you pay for - treated like cattle. Not a pleasant experience.
Favorite Dish: None all greasy
China Buffet King: china buffet king (of not good food anyway)
China Buffet King is a glorified canteen. As a born n bred "weegie" and lover of fine dining, you wont get it here. Sure the "all you can eat" buffet will fill a space. However, the food is lukewarm usually, the staff whip your plates away in nano secs and the atmosphere is a lot of loud, droning people. No music and the seats are not comfy at all. Try West End of Glasgow for some class!!
China Buffet King: Always Popular
I haven`t been but this place is always busy and is a popular place with young people, so it may be what you are looking for. There is also another Chinese Buffet King in West Nile Street just around the corner from St Vincent Street and quite near the Horse Shoe Bar in Drury Street.
