Take a walk around the necropolis next to the Glasgow Cathedral. There is an amazing calmness to be found there (probably due to the fact that it is a graveyard). However, there is a great view from the top of the hill, well worth having a look around!

Just east of the Cathedral is one of Glasgow's unique attractions--its Necropolis. If you like cemeteries, visit this one. The place has a particularly Scottish ambiance.
