Luggage and bags: You need a mixed bag for Scotland. Weather is very changeable. Layers are the answer and an umbrella. After dark in spring ,summer and autumn the dreaded midge strikes. Smaller than the mosy but just as annoying . I dont know if Mosquito repellant works. Smoking is supposed to. Citronella does

Luggage and bags: You will definately require a large duffle with wheels as the clothes you will need to bring are quite bulky.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Good walking shoes and boots, with thick socks. Waterproofs and fleeces. It is cold and wet for most of the year.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: You can get anything you need, but if you are treking carry medical supplies, first aid kit, torch, and some food and water.
Photo Equipment: They have it all.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: A tent without holes and a solid ground sheet. A Kerosene heater and cooker would be a good investment.
