There's nothing quite like the Overgate experience in Dundee.
Set against a spectacular curved glass wall, the mall houses some of the most famous fashion brands in the world. Gap, FCUK, Mango, Next, Warehouse, all sit comfortably alongside WHSmith, H&M and Sports Soccer. There are over 60 high street brands for you to choose from.
And you can sit comfortably too, in the relaxing environments of the balcony cafes.
The Overgate is the only single sided shopping mall in Europe, and a spectacular two storey curved glass wall wraps itself around the City Churches in the heart of Dundee.
You have to see it to appreciate it as the light cascades in creating one of the most enjoyable and relaxed shopping experiences you'll encounter.
What to buy: Clothes, Jewellery, Books, Sports Stuff, Music, DVD's Flowers, Cards - the list is endless

Dundee is a great place to shop. There are two major undercover malls, one at each end of the city. The Wellgate Centre is near the Seagate bus station and has a nice range of shops including clothes shops, book shops and restaurants. You can then walk along the pedestrianised centre with major stores such as Marks and Spencers, JJB, Tesco Metro etc to the Overgate where another mall contains about everything you might wish to buy. Matalan and TK Max are just opposite the harbour and some outlout shops are located by the harbour itself. Just beware of the crowds on Saturdays when everyone descends for a day of shopping! What makes Dundee special is the street art, a dragon, Desperate Dan statue and the fountains in the city square, which is an ideal place to relax for a few moments after a hard days shopping.
What to buy: Anything and everything - the range of clothes shops in particular is phenomenal.
What to pay: Everything from budget buys, outlet shopping to designer gear.
