This is a pretty hip bar on Kingslands Road. The name comes from the original names of two shoe and bag shops, which were later converted into a bar. See photo.

This is one of the best restaurants in the area. Perhaps not the most widly publicised, but it's definately worth checking out. From the website "Rivington has an elegant, high-ceilinged, white painted dining room, a comfortable bar with high stools for solo diners, and plenty of sofas"

Kingsland Road has loads of Vietnamese restaurants. This one, in my opinion, is by far the best. They've got a great menu, and will do things to your specific requests. The prices are amazingly cheap too!
The restaurant isn't licensed, so you'll need to bring your own beer and wine. There is no corkage charge.

This is one of the best "nice" restaurants in the area. Perfect for a night out with good friends or your family. Food is very good, and it's a pretty good price.
