Everyone comes to Shottery for Anne Hathaway's cottage, and there are good reasons for doing that, but take some time to wander around. I like wandering down Tavern Lane where there are some more thatched cottages or walking into Stratford across Shottery Fields. There's also a walk down Shottery Brook by Anne Hathaway's cottage plus a pub in the village for a rest!
But don't pester the schoolgirls in purple uniforms for photos. I know, I used to be one of them!
