Do not let this slice of history convice you the place is a great place to drink - The modern orange 'flapping' sign on the outside belies a much more modern approach.
The sign is a nice little detail, but guve the pub a skip unless you like dingy pubs and loud music.

 Bubble cars by sourbugger
On the other hand there is no denying that a museum dedicated to 'bubble' cars and other micro cars in somewhat unusual.
They have about 50 of them parked up in the village of Cranwell only a few miles from Sleaford. If that is your bag, then go.
I always remember the great tale Jasper Carrot used to tell about all those owners of bubble cars (the ones with the front opening door) who drove them into their garages and then starved to death inside because the couldn't open the door !
