There are many good pubs in the UK, some of them do good food, others good beer.
The Butchers is a typical, average local pub in that it has none of the above.
It has one redeeming point - it is next door to a good curry take away, so order your vindaloo and have a beer in the Butchers while you wait.

This pub has a good range of beers and does pub food. It is one of the more reasonably priced hostelries.
