Stowmarket is a small town and the number of shops reflects this. There is a good choice of supermarkets, chemists and other shops to buy normal 'everyday' things. The main shopping areas in town are pedestrianised and there is also a large supermarket on the outskirts of the town.
If you fancy going shopping for a Prada handbag, you are unlikely to find it here.
