 ratherton Says:  Stowmarket is on the main line into London Liverpool Street station. The journey takes about 1 hour 20 mins but as is common with railways in the UK, delays are far too common.It is also possible to take trains up to Norwich and also across country to Cambridge and Ely where... 

 Tulips7 Says:  There are some great clothing, home furnishing and and gift shops clustered around the Bury Street traffic lights - including Tydemans Jewellers, one of the longest established independent shops in the town jewellery, gifts, homewares

 Tulips7 Says:  Hidden in the centre of town is the Museum of East Anglian life - a huge site with lots of old buildings from around the area which ahve been relocated there - my favourites are the little tin chapel and the windmill. There is a beautiful walk along the riverside, farm... 

 ratherton Says:  Bodywize gym was started a few years ago by a couple of friends of mine. Both these guys were into body-building and initially, that is what the gym was for. The gym proved to be very successful and they expanded the size of it, and started to bring in 'normal' gym machines... 

 ratherton Says:  All the banks in Stowmarket are in the market place. All the usual suspects are there Lloyds, HSBC, NatWest (spit !!) and Barclays. It's important to remember that Stowmarket is a small town and in a brilliant piece of customer service, all the banks are closed on Saturdays....
