Favorite thing: If you like remote, sparsely populated scenery, Strathdon must be one of the places to see. Lots of wild heather, woodlands, sheep & some castles & villages on the way from Aberdeen to the "Whisky County" of Moray!
Fondest memory: Managing to visit Kildrummy castle on a most gorgeous, sunny day in May! Just sitting on the stones & listening to ... silence!
