Writing a shopping tip for Tanera Mor [the only spelling I had seen until now] sounds a bit like a coal mining tip for Westminster Abbey. Tanera Mor is the only populated island in the little known Summer Isles off the coast above Achiltibuie and hardly anybody lives there year round. There are a couple of houses for summer rental and summer courses are run on painting and photography. That's about it - and yet there is a shop! Moreover it sells something that you would have to go to a stamp collecting shop anywhere else, if you wanted it! Yes, this island issues its own stamps that are valid throughout the UK. Individual stamps and packages are on sale.
In addition the Post Office sells light snacks and hot or cold drinks.

What to buy: Given the above, this must be obvious: local stamps.

What to pay: The same as you would for equivalent stamps elsewhere if they are currently valid.
