Waddington yearly air show is on Saturday 5th July and Sunday 6th July 2008. I have been to this air show every year for the past 5 years and it is fantastic. Modern military jets such as the harrier jump jet [my favourite] and the typhoon. Helicopters such as the Chinook and the lynx and world war two veterans such as the spitfire, Lancaster’s and the hurricane all perform as well as lots of static displays and information. Air force personnel are on hand to answer questions. There are also foreign flying teams this year will be the Indian, Spanish and Chilean air forces taking part. There are always the stars of the show “THE RED ARROWS” kids love the air show because they get to go on the static aircraft and see the cockpits there are also usually pleasure flights in a helicopter for about £30.00.
The price of admission is adults £20.00 children £10.00 under 5’s are free.
A bus service leaves Lincoln rail station throughout the day. Adult return is £3 child return is £1.50
