The website gives clear information about public transport to the National Garden
Once there getting around may provide a challenge for the less abled but immediately outside the large ticket and information office a number ofsuper buggies await to transport vistors around the site on a get-on/get-off anywhere basis, no charge.
For wheel chair users although the grounds are extensive and in some parts on an incline, ramps and other features are in place to make the passage around the garden as smooth as possible.
There is ample free parking for visitors arriving by car.
Travelling in and around Carmarthen via public transport is a nightmare! Buses are quite expensive and infrequent, if you're planning to travel ANYWHERE by bus, you'd better check carefully if there are buses that go there and come back more than once a week! There are more frequent buses on Wednesdays and Saturdays (market days) but for some small villages this will be the only bus service during the entire week.
The moral of the story: if you can drive, do.
