    pedestrianisation

the town has introduced a pedestrianisation scheme that operates between the summer holidays.
You cannot use car within the town walls during a period from 11-4 or 5?
So if you are staying in the walls, you need to plan for this.
However, it is great for pedestrians and means that the town is safe and care fume free, which has created a different place in the Summer months

    Beach promenade

The picturesque small town of Tenby with its narrow streets and the histroic buildings is best explored on foot. The 4 beaches and Castle Hill are in walking distance to the centre of town. There is a nice promenade along the North Beach which an be enjoyed on a stroll.
