    Poundland: Loads at a Pound

by Balam Written Oct 19, 2009
    Poundland

This was probably the best Pound shop ever, far better than any we have in oldham or Manchester, it is certainly great for students. I had to come out before looking all the way around the shop because i would have spent all my money.

    Booze Buster: Alcohol heaven

    by Evenith666 Written Mar 29, 2009

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Booze Buster is a small alcohol shop located on College Road. It has the cheapest prices for most alcohol products in Bangor, and also does a Student Discount on Wednesdays. They also sell chocolates and crisps, and gifts for special occasions.
The staff in here are also usually very friendly.

What to pay: 6-packs of bottles of lager are between £5 and £6, and bottles of spirits tend to be £1 or £2 cheaper than Morrisons

This great little shop has it's front door were the back doors of most shops on high st would be, it stretches quite a way and has a great selection of just about everything from toy cars to welsh dressers and some quite reasonable prices, my son has bought records and a few other things from here. It's certainly worth a visit if your passing.

Look out for the signs on High St.
