Booze Buster is a small alcohol shop located on College Road. It has the cheapest prices for most alcohol products in Bangor, and also does a Student Discount on Wednesdays. They also sell chocolates and crisps, and gifts for special occasions.
The staff in here are also usually very friendly.
What to pay: 6-packs of bottles of lager are between £5 and £6, and bottles of spirits tend to be £1 or £2 cheaper than Morrisons
This great little shop has it's front door were the back doors of most shops on high st would be, it stretches quite a way and has a great selection of just about everything from toy cars to welsh dressers and some quite reasonable prices, my son has bought records and a few other things from here. It's certainly worth a visit if your passing.
Look out for the signs on High St.

Deiniol Shopping Centre is the main shopping centre in Bangor, with a good selection of shops.
The toilet's are on the 4th floor (shops are the 3rd) and cost 20p to get in but if there are a few of you 20p will let you all in.
This was probably the best Pound shop ever, far better than any we have in oldham or Manchester, it is certainly great for students. I had to come out before looking all the way around the shop because i would have spent all my money.
As well as being a Hotel and a Chinese restaurant the garden Hotel also has a shop selling Chinese and other Asian foods
Bangor is reputed to have the longest High Street in Wales. It is indeed very long and provides a wide variety of shops from local butchers, bakers to large department stores and high street banks.
