If there was one place in which you could totally relax & enjoy the scenery - this is it. There are beautiful flowers alongside the seafront and lots of benches overlooking the bay.

Rheilfford Ffestiniog Railway

Rheilfford Ffestiniog Railway, or you can visit one of the other Great Little Trains of Wales.

Old steam trains running through beautiful nature. This train takes you 13½ miles from Porthmadog to Blaenau Ffestiniog. A nice relaxing ride through the country. And your kids travel for free. The best thing is they just love the little trains.

What a view!

The Sea View Tea Rooms are situated just accross the road from the picturesque bay of Borth-Y-Gest. They serve hot and cold drinks aswell as a very good selection of cooked meals at lunchtime.

I had a coffee & sat outside to take in the beautiful views of the Bay.
