having lived in bridgend for 28 yrs and sampled its nightlife for 10yrs i can report that for anyone coming here to visit a good night can be had.theres a general mix of pubs/clubs/starwars bars in town to suit all ages and preferences.lava is the main nightclub but suits the 14-30 age group.Codys is a pub/club open til 4 to suit anyone, just beware of the valley commandos on the prowl. The Roof is a late licensed pub for anyone with good atmosphere and a courtyard. There are many other establishments in the own, but for something a bit different why not head to theoutskirts of the town and vist the O.C.L.P club in bryntirion for an unrivalled atmosphere and friendly locals, once there you will never leave.Chat to the locals spud, ted, mike and ross,a good night to be HAD BY ALL AND CHEAP BEER. enjoy

Bowlers Bar + nightspot: A game of bowling

    by jhorsfield30 Written Jun 14, 2005

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Good venue with ease of access, car park opposite even though pay for.

On the climb up the stairs to the bowling alley, you are met with a rustic feel and neon lightning. The main area is well spaced, however, theming is minimal and prices are average. However, the staff were helpful and even at night time it was reletively quiet.

Dress Code: Smart Casual Wear I personally wore.
