American, Cardiff

This New York type diner was chosen because we had the children with us., and there is a children's meal for £3.75 which includes a drink, a choice from the main dish and a dessert.
The place was busy with a number of families , and a birthday party with a lot of children present. A balloon was given to every child. Service was quite quick.

Favorite Dish: My daughter had Cajun chicken pasta and I had sticky chicken pasta. Mine had a slight sweet taste and was very tasty.

Diner 77 or is it Diner 71, cant remember. Anyway its in the Pontcanna area of Cardiff and serves up some great Burgers, not like BK or MacD, but prime, juicy burgers with topping like, chilli, mushroom and cream. The portions are massive!!

Their motto is 'you'll never leave hungry' and it was true. The staff where so frendly and helpful. I fully recomend this place and if i go to cardiff again i will call in.

Favorite Dish: I had steak. it was big juicey and tasty. They've got a great wine list and do loads of cocktails.

Diner 77 is an amazing place. Don't let the name put you off, it has great character. It's only a small restaurant so it's advisable to book (unless you order a take away), it fills up very quickly.

They are licensed so don't worry about the booze! The basic no-fuss menu includes starters such as prawn cocktail and garlic mushrooms while the main courses centre around meat, with lots of steaks, burgers, ribs and chicken. There are, however, some vegetarian options as well.

Family run, established in 1977. Hope you enjoy.

Favorite Dish: Favourite meal is the double bacon burger with fries. Two burgers (great beef) in one bun and placed on top you will find two slices of hot bacon. Delicious!

Great service and really friendly staff

Favorite Dish: I tried a main dish of Ham and cheese wrapped around chicken breasts. I know that doesn't sound very exciting but it was really delicious.
