Interesting décor, good service and fantastic food. The camel greets you as you step in. The ceiling is like a tent and coffee pot and pottery adorn corners.
The food is excellent and could not be faulted. We didn't even have room for a doggie bad, and the price was good too.
Favorite Dish: The mixed grill, but the humous and baba ghanoush were great too.
We tried this restaurant by accident and I have to recommend it! Mina is a restaurant and cafe bar, and the food is described as Lebanese and Mediterranean. There are some dishes that are distinctly mediterranean and others that seem to have more of a North African influence, and everything we tried was delicious! The service was good too and the food is nicely presented (and there's a lot of it!) The other plus point is the price - we paid about ý33 (around $50) for two people, which included a starter and main course each AND a bottle of wine - quite a bit cheaper than most places in the centre of town. Not including wine it would be relatively easy to eat well for under $40.
Also, for people with specific dietary requirements, there are several vegetarian options and all the food served at Mina is halal. They also have a lighter, more snack-based menu during the day.
Favorite Dish: There is a sharing starter/snack platter of mixed mezzes, which is great because it gives the chance to try several different dishes in one. Comes with wedges of pitta bread for dipping.
