Four generous floors of antiques, clothing and bric-a-brac stalls located near to Cardiff Central Station. Fortunately the market has survived even though all of the buildings around it were demolished. The route to it is being improved all the time.
The market has certainly been in existence for over 25 years.
The prices are generally more reasonable than any other antique place in Cardiff. Maybe you will find a bargain!
It has a really great cafe which is right next to the main railway. As you sit eating your cake you can see trains heading straight for you!! The food is very good and wholesome, ranging from cakes to full meals.
The top floor has an art gallery with occasional exhibitions and a good view of Cardiff!
What to buy:
Well respected for its 'retro' second hand clothes shops, selling coats, hats and shoes. They can be found at the back of the building. I used to stock up there when I was a trendy student :)
