Westenhanger has two claims to fame, one is the railway station and the other is the Racecourse. Although not actually in Folkestone, the racecourse is called Folkestone Racecourse.

. Arriving at Westenhanger station you do wonder if the place exists for any other purpose than to house Folkestone Racecourse. There doesn't seem to be much else there.
