I spent some time trying to find the church, and eventually found it hidden away. St Peter Westleton was rebuilt in 1340 on a Saxon site. It once had a large tower with 8 bells, but it collapsed in 1770.A smaller one was built on its foundations but suffered bomb damage in WWII. The present bell cote was constructed in the 1960s. The church is unusual in that it is thatched. The stained glass window shows St Felix and St George.
