I've never actually been inside this place, I merely offer it as a suggestion to VTer's who may want something to do of an evening in Whitstable.
The place is apparently run by a local amateur dramatic society (the Lindley Players) and seems to have a reasonable selection of entertainments on, if the posters outside are anything to go by.
The quality I cannot possibly comment on.

I must confess I've never actually been here at night, as I always have to get a train back to London, but I have included it here as it seems to offer the best selection of nightlife in the town.
Posters in the place suggest there is regular live music of various kinds, and also a comedy night. At time of writing (August 2005) they were offering a comedy night deal of £15 including a two course meal. Normal admission is £5.
Apart from the night time entertainments, it is a decent place just to have a drink during the day, with friendly staff and pleasant surroundings.
Dress Code: Smart casual, it would appear.
