Souvenirs are excellent items to remember the tourist destinations that you have visited. Vatican City has plenty of wonderful souvenirs to take home with you to your country. Our main photograph on the right depicts the stone sculpture that we purchased outside St. Peter's Cathedral. There are plenty of these souvenir shops around the cathedral. Our second photograph (hidden photo) depicts the beautiful magnet purchased from the souvenir shop inside St. Peter's Cathedral. This shop has a lot of the more religious artifacts in the Basillica. When I was there, nuns were running the shop. They were very friendly and very helpful and they spoke several languages (which I thought was nice for the customers). They were also very patient.
They have SEVERAL rosaries for all different prices, depending on what your fancy is. You can probably get a cheaper rosary outside of San Pietro, but these are authentic and really nice. And all of the rosaries are reasonably priced as well. They had a lot of other religious paraphernalia as well, statues, prayer cards, and little gems. I am not that familiar with Catholicism so I didn't know what everything was, but they had a lot to choose from. They also had some postcards of the different Popes and stuff.
You can probably expect to pay a good price for what you get....at least that is my opinion. I didn't really shop around for a lot of religious artifacts, but I did notice that the rosaries are a good price for what you get. Theme: OtherDirections: Right outside the Basillica, near the queue to climb the cuppola and to go to the grottoes.

This letter is from 1894 and it is a letter consisting of a double-pagen with the long message in it - and it was finally folded in a way, that the message was not revealed from outside and the stamp and adress for delivery is seen on this scanning - and there was a seal at the back...
