Favorite thing: We've been to many Armenian Churches in Armenia or around the world.. The choir at Ejmiatsin Cathedral in the monastary was beyond belief..
You have to attend the mass on Sunday to be able to hear them sing.. We were fortunate enough to be there on a Sunday and we stood there during the mass waiting for them to start singing the next song and the following and another.. They were very good, best we've ever seen..
Since Ejmiatsin is only 30 minutes away from Yerevan by taxi, it is worth visiting the city on a Sunday to be able to see the Sunday mass... There are always other events going on at the other 2 churches such as Christenings or weddings.. We saw one Christening and were a part of a wedding.. It was a wonderful experience..
