Negotiate a Fare Before You get in a Taxi
I would highly recommend calling a taxi from home when you need to get a ride somewhere since you know the rates beforehand.. So you are safe to negotiate a price with the driver before you get in the taxi.. If you're ok with the rate, by all means, get in and enjoy your ride..My experience was positive with most taxi drivers.. I tried to utilize the phone a taxi service as much as I could.. Only in two instances I was overcharged and knowingly, I accepted and took the ride anyway..
