Being a large town very close to Baku, transport is very easy - lots of buses and marshrutkas leave for Sumqayit form a place next to the 20 Januar metro station constantly throughout the day. Journey takes about 40-45 minutes.

There are several trains from Baku to Sumqayit by train and back.The time table is subject to change. 2003 there have been no trains in the evening.The train trip takes much longer than the bus oder Taxi.
"Baku-Sumgaiyt" bus to Sumgaiyt.

Take "Baku-Sumgayit" bus or van around "20 Yanvar" metro station.There is always a bus/van departing every 2-5 minutes.
