It has 'bite sized' exhibits of local handicrafts. The items for sale are expensive even if the quality is good. It is good if you only have one day to see everything. I suggest taking the time to see the handicrafts (pottery, weaving, dhow making) being done in their original locations.
In the same area is the birthplace of the Amir. It is a traditional Bahrain home and only takes about 20 minutes to see. Leave a Comment

Taxi drivers are required by law to use their meters, only two companies that i know of strictly adbide by this rule. radio meter taxi and bahrain limo. You have to call these companies by phone and sometimes have a wait but it will save you a ton of money.
If you are forced to use the taxis with orange hoods and bumpers, you have to haggle prices with them. They have many scams to get more money out of you, never pay more than 2-3 dinar. For everyone in the car, not per person. Leave a Comment
